We wrote a little something in its honor for the final Wednesday night open mike there (11/7), and were asked to play it at the Bash for the Bull send-off party. will be hosting a workshop entitled Woes of the Working
Stiff
at the
NEFFA folk festival.
Songs about work gone bad, or sometimes gone away completely. Work songs can celebrate or complain, but if you want to feel really good about your work, listen to some of these stories from the mines, the sea, or the fields. The show is on Friday evening at 8pm in Middle School Room 103/104 at the Mansfield High School in Mansfield MA.; see the NEFFA link for more details. |

The Douglas and Gates Schools in Acton, MA (75 Spruce Street), are hosting a festival to raise money to repair the boardwalk that runs between our two schools in West Acton. The Board-a-Palooza Arts & Music Festival will be held on Saturday, June 12th, from 10am through 8pm (rain or shine!) at the two adjacent elementary schools. The festival will feature two stages of music, art & craft vendors, food and games. Ergo Canto will perform at 3pm. |

Ergo Canto will be playing at the Dorchester
Historical Society, 195 Boston Street, Dorchester.
This will be an event the DHS calls Clapp Farm Day on the
Historical Society property. There will be pony rides,
refreshments, needlework and wool/flax spinning demonstrations,
and music by Ergo Canto (we're being billed as "the Beck-Bryant
Duo" in their flyers and public announcements). The
property is an historical farm from the time when Dorchester was
a farming community. We will be playing from 2-4 pm in the
Meeting Room of the Main House. Here's where it is
